Tory majority slashed in Hungerford by-election result – West Berkshire Council

image Very well done indeed to Denise Gaines for slashing the Tory majority from 338 votes in 2011 to 59 votes last night in the Hungerford by-election for the vacant seat on West Berkshire Council caused by the sad death of David Holtby. Denise proved herself to be a superb candidate, and the team worked unbelievably hard. As young Mr Grace used to say:

You’ve all done very well!
